Since August 2021 I've joined the 151A team as a Game Artist and have been working on the upcoming title Backbeat, supporting the team with both 2D and 3D. It has been a welcome challenge to adapt to and work to enhance an already existing visual style. With assets being stylized and timed to adhere to the 90s aesthetic the colours and presentation posed a fun spin on the 2D tasks, which ranged from graphic design of marketing material to UI and UI-cohesive flipbook particles.

In terms of Graphical Design, I created the roll-up, the promotional event poster for The MIX 2022 (GDC Event) and promotional flyers. I've taken care to incorporate the project's palette, watercolour overlays and 90s setting with existing key art.

In terms of UI, I created supporting effects for the ending screens that were interactive, but not too distracting, to amplify the UI experience. Here are three iterations: S+ result with paparazzi, S+ result with fireworks and the tricks/unlocks menu.

When creating the pitch deck for 151A I took into account the logotype colours, it's various applications as well as a simplistic, subtle Japanese brushwork inspired theme as per request. I took into account the various layouts that could be needed.
